About Our Facility
Established in 2006, Prairielands Kennel Home of Prairieside German Shepherds is owned and operated by Kristin Sapinski. Our facility is located just outside of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Kristin and her family live on site so someone is always on the property for the safety of all the animals staying with us. Prairielands Kennel is situated on a beautiful 10acre property. Our facility consists of the main building housing our Office and Retail Area, Grooming Room, Daycare Room, Food Prep Area as well as two separate dog rooms. As well we have 2 large fenced in areas for daily exercise, agility equipment and outdoor kiddie pools to cool off in the summer months.
We currently have 4 team members who work along side of myself. All of our team members are well trained and will ensure your wonderful pets will get the care and love they deserve. As pet owners ourselves we understand how hard it can be to leave your pet in an unfamiliar environment but we do our best to make both you and your pet’s boarding experience with us as enjoyable and comfortable as possible! We strive to be of the utmost service to those we serve and to respond to our clients and their pet’s needs in a loving, caring, fun and professional manner.
